How we look after your account, channels and videos
A plain description of what ContentVeo stores, how it is protected and when it is deleted. The legal detail is in our privacy policy.
Summary
Your account
Sign in with email and password or with Google. Sign-up and sign-in are protected against bots, and you can turn on two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app under Settings → Account.
Your data stays yours
Every request is checked on our servers against the signed-in account, and the database itself only returns rows that belong to that account. One customer can never read another’s projects or channels.
Connected channels
You connect each platform through its own sign-in, so we never see your passwords. Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, used only by our servers and never sent to your browser.
Encryption
Every connection to ContentVeo uses HTTPS with HSTS. Videos and clips are kept in encrypted cloud storage and shared with you through short-lived links.
You stay in control
Nothing is posted until you approve it. Disconnecting a channel under Integrations deletes its tokens immediately and stops all posting to it.
No ad trackers
No advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on this site or in the app. This site loads only its own script and fonts.
How long we keep your files
We keep media only as long as it is useful to you. On paid plans, download any clip you want to keep.
- Video files you upload
- Deleted automatically within 3 days
- Videos added by link
- Downloaded only to make the clips, not kept afterwards
- Clips and covers
- Deleted 3 days after they are made on Free, 15 days on Creator and Pro, and 30 days on Business, posted or not
- Scheduled clips
- Kept until their scheduled post goes out (up to 28 days after the clip is made)
- Projects in the trash
- Deleted for good after 7 days
- Your account
- Delete it any time under Settings → Account; everything is removed immediately
You can download a copy of your projects, clips, captions, schedule and settings with Download my data on the same page.
Limited access to Google, by design
ContentVeo’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Upload from Google Drive gives access to the one file you choose (drive.file), never the rest of your Drive. The short-lived token is used once to download it and then deleted.
- YouTube access is used to upload the clips you choose and to show which channel is connected. We don’t read, change or delete your other videos.
- Auto Pilot reads only the folder you share with our processing account. Stop sharing it to end access.
- Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models.
AI and processing providers
To make your clips, a video’s audio and transcript are processed by our infrastructure and AI providers, listed in the privacy policy. They receive what is needed to make your clips and nothing more.
Your videos, audio and transcripts are not sold and are not used to train AI models.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor. ContentVeo never sees or stores your full card number.
